Utah Cacti
These were all taken along Interstate Highway 15 between Saint George and the Virgin River Gorge. The cactus in the featured image is commonly called whipple cholla. 🌵

For us taking pictures of friends is a real good time. 🙂 All of these shots come from the context of adventure times with friends around Utah and Washington. All taken using Canon equipment, mostly with a Rebel using a 18-55mm macro lens.

The Flora and Fauna of Midsummer
My partner and I have a persistent fondness for the aesthetics of floral life cycles. The local bugs seem to be pretty big fans as well. These were all taken near Diamond Fork Canyon.

As a family, we’ve taken thousands of landscape and nature photos over the years. I enjoy going through old raw images as a way of remembering and exploring newContinue reading “Red, Green, Blue”

Inland Northwest Mushrooms
As you can see the vegetation alongside the rivers and lakes around Spokane and Idaho can be cartoonishly healthy. The varieties and frequency of mushrooms in the region is sincerely impressive.
